Buonconsiglio's castle is one of the most important historical evidences in the Province of Trento. It's been the dwelling of Trento's bishop-princes from XIII up to XVIII century, it's later been converted in barracks for the army untill the end of world war first and restored in 1924 to become the location for the National Museum, in 1973 it's been purchased by Provincia di Trento
Improved and decorated many times in the feudal age and during rinassence, it conservate a wide number of frescos, the most famouse among them is for sure the Ciclo dei Mesi conservated in Torre Aquila
Buonconsiglio's castle periodically hosts interesting historical-archeological expositions about the most various topics, in orfer to offer Trento's guests a complete and variegated cultural experience.
