By submitting a registration for the race, the athlete declares that they have read and fully accept these regulations for participation in the Trento 10K Città del Concilio.
The ASD Città di Trento organizes the Trento 10K Città del Concilio, a competitive and non-competitive race, which will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, with meeting time at 9:15 AM and start at 10:15 AM from Via Verdi, finishing at Piazza Duomo.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS – COMPETITIVE RACE:
ITALIAN REGISTERED ATHLETES
All athletes registered in Italy aged 16 years and older (age in full years) may participate in the competitive race if they meet one of the following requirements:
- Athletes registered in Italy for 2026 with clubs affiliated to FIDAL.
- Athletes registered in Italy with a Runcard (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete), da and above. Participation is subject to possession of a valid competitive medical certificate specifying the sport discipline “athletics”, which must be submitted to the organizer (digital submission accepted).
- Athletes registered in Italy with a Sports Promotion Body (EPS, Athletics Section), holding a Runcard-EPS. Participation is subject to possession of a valid competitive medical certificate specifying the sport discipline “athletics”, which must be submitted to the organizer (digital submission accepted).
NON ITALIAN REGISTERED ATHLETES COMPETITIVE RACE
All Italian or foreign athletes registered with foreign clubs, aged 16 and above (age in full years), may participate in the competitive race if they meet one of the following requirements:
- Athletes registered with clubs affiliated to Foreign Athletics Federations recognized by World Athletics (WA). At registration, they may alternatively submit a self-certification confirming possession of a WA-recognized license. The self-certification must be signed in original at bib collection.

- Athletes registered with foreign clubs holding a Runcard (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete), limited to those aged 16 and above. Participation is subject to possession of a valid competitive medical certificate specifying the sport discipline “athletics”, which must be submitted to the organizer (digital submission accepted).
- For non-resident foreign athletes, the medical certificate may be issued in their own country, provided it includes the same examinations required by Italian law:
a) Medical examination
b) Complete urinalysis
c) Resting and post-exercise electrocardiogram
d) Spirometry (lung function test)
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS – NON-COMPETITIVE RACE:
PARTICIPATION – “SPORT TOURISM / NON-COMPETITIVE ATHLETES”
Within the framework of the competitive event, participation in the non-competitive tourist/sport section may be authorized. Citizens aged 16 and over (by year of birth) are not required to present a medical certificate, but must sign a liability waiver in favor of the organizers.
Participants in this section will be placed in a separate ranking, listed in alphabetical order, and will not be entitled to prizes of monetary or material value, bonuses, fees, or reimbursements of any kind.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Registrations for the Trento Half Marathon will be open from 1 February 2026 and can be completed online until Thursday, 25 September 2026, 24:00.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR CLUBS / GROUPS
For registrations made through sports clubs, discounts are applied to the standard individual registration fees:
- For every 10 registrations to the Trento 10K (cumulative with registrations to the Trento Half Marathon from the same club/group), one registration is FREE.
The 10 registrations must be submitted at the same time by completing the registration form (downloadable [here]) and sending it along with the proof of payment to: info@trentorunningfestival.it.

REGISTRATION CLOSING
Online registrations will close at 24:00 on 24 September 2026. Registrations received after this deadline will not be accepted.
A.S.D. Città di Trento reserves the right to close registrations early or to accept registrations after the closing date at its sole discretion.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Confirmation emails, including the assigned bib number, will be sent as soon as the administrative procedures are completed, and in any case at least 5 days before the event.
Participants are advised to provide a clear and legible email address.
Athletes who, for any reason, do not receive the confirmation email may obtain it at the designated race office for bib collection.
At any time, you can check the status of your registration by CLICKING HERE, logging in with your credentials, and selecting the race under “registration status”.
REGISTRATION VALIDATION
Registrations will not be accepted if they are missing the participation fee, a copy of the FIDAL license or a competitive medical certificate, or if they contain incomplete personal or contact information.
For the purpose of registration fees, the payment date will be considered as the valid reference.
REGISTRATION FEE REFUNDS
Participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, athletes unable to take part in the Trento 10K Città del Concilio are offered two alternatives:
- Transfer of registration to another person:
It is possible to transfer the registration to another person by submitting a request no later than 6 September 2026, and paying a €15 administrative fee. The replacement participant must provide all personal information and details regarding their license or medical certificate.
- Transfer of registration to the Trento 10K Città del Concilio 2027:
By notifying their unavailability no later than 6 September 2026 and paying a €15 administrative fee, the registration fee will be valid for the 2027 edition.
- The €15 fee must be paid via Italian bank transfer to S.D. Città di Trento at Banca per il Trentino-Alto Adige:

The organization will send an email that the participant can use to confirm registration for the following year.
DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
On Sunday, 27 September, participants may park their vehicles free of charge in the “Piazzale Sanseverino – P07” parking area, located at the intersection of Via Verdi and Via R. da Sanseverino (345 parking spaces + 6 spaces reserved for disabled drivers).
It is mandatory to display the parking form, which can be downloaded from the event website.

RACE BIB
The race bib is strictly personal, cannot be tampered with or altered, and is non-transferable. Violation will result in disqualification.
BIB AND RACE PACK COLLECTION
Athletes with a valid registration may collect their race bib and race pack in Trento by presenting a valid ID at the event logistics center, the location of which will be communicated via EVODATA email by 20 September.
Collection schedule:
- Friday, 25 September 2026: 17:00 – 19:00
- Saturday, 26 September 2026: 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 19:00
- Sunday, 27 September 2026: 07:00 – 09:00 only for residents outside the municipality of Trento
If an athlete fails to provide any required documentation, they cannot collect the race bib (which will not be refunded) and will only be able to collect the race pack.
Race bibs and race packs can also be collected by third parties, provided they present:
- A written authorization from the registered athlete
- A confirmation letter from the delegating athlete
- A photocopy of a valid ID
BAGGAGE DEPOSIT
The “Athletes’ Baggage Deposit” will be set up in Piazza Duomo.
Inside the envelope containing your race bib, you will find a sticker with your race number, which must be clearly attached to your personal bag containing your post-race clothing. The bag must be properly closed; it will be collected, stored, and returned at the end of the race.
It is advised not to leave valuables (mobile phones, wallets, etc.) in the bags, as the organization cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage.
The bag will be returned only upon presentation of your race bib.
TIMING
Timing for the event is managed by EVODATA – TIMING & DATA SOLUTION. Race times and the preparation of results will be measured using an active transponder system (“chip”).
- Tampering with the chip is strictly prohibited.
- Athletes who damage the chip in any way will not be timed and will not appear in the official results.
For each athlete, the following will be recorded:
- Official time: from the start gun to the finish line
- Net time: from crossing the start line to the finish line
- Intermediate splits to ensure accurate results
The chip is not to be returned.
Further information regarding timing will be published on the website: www.trentorunningfestival.it in the weeks leading up to the race.
TIME LIMIT
The time limit to complete the race is set at 1 hour and 30 minutes. After this time, the organization cannot guarantee the course will be closed to traffic.
Athletes who do not respect the time limit must follow all traffic regulations.
REFRESHMENT AND SPONGE STATIONS
In accordance with WA/FIDAL regulations, a refreshment station will be available at 5 km with water, and an arrival refreshment will also be provided.
A sponge station will be set up at 7.5 km.
MEDICAL SERVICE
The Organizing Committee will provide an adequate medical assistance service along the course and at the start and finish areas.
FINISH LINE
After crossing the finish line, athletes will be guided through designated corridors to receive their finisher’s medal and access the post-race refreshment area.
RESULTS AND RANKINGS
The final rankings will be validated by the Technical Delegate Judge or the Appeals Judge.

AWARD CEREMONY
The award ceremony will take place at the end of the competition, starting from 1:00 PM.
PRIZE MONEY
The top 3 men and top 3 women in the overall category will be awarded prizes.
ATHLETE RESPONSIBILITY
The registered athlete is responsible for the possession and safekeeping of their race bib. Tampering with the bib is strictly prohibited. Athletes who alter, cut, or conceal any markings on the bib will not be awarded any prize, even if it is monetary.
- Anyone participating without a valid registration or bib will be held responsible for any damage to persons or property, including themselves, and will be subject to sports sanctions under the relevant federation authorities, as well as criminal penalties for theft (Art. 624 of the Italian Penal Code).
- Anyone participating with a counterfeit or otherwise non-compliant bib will, in addition to the responsibilities above, be subject to sports sanctions and may also face criminal penalties for theft (Art. 624 c.p.) or, alternatively, fraud (Art. 640 c.p.).
In cases 1) and 2), participants may also face penalties for non-compliance with authority orders (Art. 650 c.p.). These violations will be verified exclusively through photographic and/or video evidence.
PROTESTS / APPEALS
Any protests must be submitted within 30 minutes of the posting of the results:
- First instance: verbally to the Finish Line Judge
- Second instance: in writing to the Appeals Judge, accompanied by a fee of €100, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
For any matters not explicitly covered in this regulation, the general FIDAL rules shall apply.
The Race Judges Group may disqualify athletes who fail to pass through the timing checkpoints along the course.
DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
By registering, the participant acknowledges that they have read and agree to comply with the rules of the Trento 10K, published on www.trentorunningfestival.it, in accordance with current WA and FIDAL regulations.
Participation in the Trento 10K and/or sporting events in general is potentially a high-risk activity. The participant declares that they are registering voluntarily and assumes all risks arising from participation in the event, including, but not limited to:
- Falls
- Contact with vehicles, other participants, spectators, or other persons
- Weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and/or humidity
- Traffic and road conditions
- Any other known or foreseeable risks
By acknowledging the above, and in consideration of the registration acceptance, the participant releases and holds harmless the Trento 10K Organizing Committee and A.S.D. Città di Trento from all present and future claims or liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, arising from participation in the event.
DATA PROCESSING POLICY
Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, participants are informed that:
- The data provided in the registration form are required for registration, for preparing the participant list, rankings, and historical archive, for carrying out the services described in the regulations, and for sending informational material about the Trento Half Marathon, as well as information and commercial offers from its partners and sponsors;
- Failure to provide the requested data or the above information will result in non-admittance to the event;
- The rights of the data subject regarding the processing of personal data are listed in Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/03. At any time, participants may consult, modify, or delete their data free of charge by writing to the person responsible for data processing at S.D. Città di Trento.
IMAGE RIGHTS
By registering for the Trento 10K, the athlete expressly authorizes the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Città di Trento to record, by television, film, photographic, or other means, the athlete’s image during their participation in the Trento 10K. By this declaration, the athlete confirms this authorization, granting A.S.D. Città di Trento the broadest rights to record, reproduce, print, publish, project, disseminate, and otherwise use the images by any currently known or future means, without time limits or restrictions, worldwide.
The athlete also authorizes A.S.D. Città di Trento to transfer image usage rights to its commercial and institutional partners, including for promotional and/or advertising purposes.
Furthermore, the athlete declares that they have no claims against A.S.D. Città di Trento, its assignees, or anyone using or exploiting their image, considering their participation in the sporting event as full satisfaction of any entitlement.
CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
If the race is canceled and/or otherwise not held due to causes beyond the control and/or not attributable to the organizers, including the revocation of authorization to hold the event by the competent Public Authorities, the registrant shall have no claims against A.S.D. Città di Trento, including reimbursement of any expenses incurred. By signing the registration form, the participant also acknowledges this as a waiver of any claim for compensation, indemnity, or restitution for any potential financial or material loss suffered.
CHANGES TO THE REGULATIONS
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time, subject to communication and approval by the Regional Committee and FIDAL National Committee, for changes made to FIDAL regulations and for reasons deemed necessary to ensure better organization of the race.
Any changes to schedules, services, or locations will be communicated to registered athletes in the confirmation letter or, in any case, on the website: www.trentorunningfestival.it.
MISCELLANEOUS
For all matters not expressly covered in these regulations, reference is made to the specific rules and the laws in force. The Race Judges Group may disqualify athletes who do not pass through the designated timing points along the course.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify any clause of these Regulations at any time due to force majeure. The race will take place on a fully paved, traffic-free, and flat course.
Under no circumstances may participants alter or reduce their race bib to hide any wording and/or symbols; doing so will result in disqualification. It is strictly forbidden to be accompanied by bicycles or any unauthorized personnel.
